Isafjordur
Isafjordur is a town in north west Iceland with a population of about 2,500. Developed as a trading post due to its safe natural harbour. Main industry is fishing.
Area very popular with walkers and campers. Interesting avalanche defence structures been constructed on nearby mountains.
